Make sure the device is factory reset. To perform a factory reset:

1. Power OFF Device
2. Once powered off completely, hold volume up, home button (if available), and power. Device will boot into Samsung Recovery Menu
3. Using the volume buttons, scroll down to the option that says, Wipe Data/Factory Reset
4. Use the Power button to select that option
5. Once Wipe Data is complete, use the Power Button to Reboot to System

Keep in mind, this service will not unlock the device. It will also not remove Samsung MDM lock or lease lock.
